Transogram #3843 ©1954 National Comics Publications, Inc. 9x17.5x1.75" deep box has nice lid illustration showing Superman flying with Daily Planet building in background as crowd watches with inset images of Lois Lane, Clark Kent, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen at right side. Box lid has two split corners into edges. 17x17" board has various Superman action scenes with center of board being dominated by 5x5" image of Superman flying by Daily Planet which is repeated on back of board to show when folded. Board has some lt. aging/wear. Fine. Parts include die-cut cardboard Superman piece with wooden stand and two different sets of eight assignment cards designed like newspaper headlines as well as eight colored plastic markers. Missing two sheet instruction papers. Insert has bit of lt. wear but overall VF. Parts are VF. Game contents are more elaborate for 2 to 8 players than scarcer smaller variety.
