Transogram #3841 ©1954 National Periodical Publications, Inc. Game is similar to set #3843 but is smaller variety with somewhat different contents. Lid is 7.75x15x1.5" deep showing Superman flying with Daily Planet building in background and inset images at right of Lois Lane, Clark Kent, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen with crowd at bottom watching Superman flying. Box has wear around edges with split corner into edge. VG. Game board is 14.75x14.75" with various Superman action scenes with center of board being dominated by 4.25x4.25" image of Superman flying by Daily Planet. Back of game board is a printed simulated alligator pattern. Board has some dust soil and some back paper is rippled from age. VG. Parts include 5.75x7 3/8" card with punched-out spinner and two punched-out figures of Superman. Rest of contents include four page instruction folder, four plastic playing pieces and two different sets of assignment cards, including four green and four yellow designed like newspaper headlines. Spinner has some oxidation, otherwise parts are VF. A very scarce variety for 2 to 4 players, with classic graphics. David Barsalou Collection.
