Item Description
1-1/16" dia. Larger than typically seen ferrotype listed as DeWitt/Sullivan 1868-22 although this is the variety which does not have the name above the portrait. Front reads "Our Choice For President" while reverse reads "For Vice President." Seymour side has tiny black dot at far right but this is in the emulsion and not a chip. Only other flaw is a tiny pinpoint dot of black above one eyebrow but showing only with magnification. The Blair side is totally free of chips and cracks. N. Mint with close to 100% bright luster. Rare.
