Item Description
1.25" with gold text "Harrison And Protection 1892" surrounding domed center portrait. Couple of pinpoint paint dots off extreme outer edge but paint remains exceptionally complete and clean. One of the finest examples we've seen. Button is constructed much like the celluloids which followed in 1896. The front litho segment has a tin reverse with attached 1" safety pin-style fastener. Reverse embossed lettering reads "American Tinplate Made By Norton Bros. Chicago." Most examples show much more paint wear. Excellent and rarely seen this nice.
