Item Description
All tin litho toy is 5x6x2.5" tall and comes in box w/illustrated lid. 1950s by Haji, Japan. Scattered box wear including dust soiling, one corner split and additional 1" edge tear to lid w/clear tape repairs. Box still remains tight and Fine. Base of toy is designed like a garage. Comes complete w/three different 2.5" long race cars. Cars are individually numbered 1-2-3 w/names of "Wing/Star/Arrow" and include illustrations to go along w/each of these titles. Has separate silvered tin driver figure in cars 1 and 2, missing from 3. Base has three different numbered launching stations. Has spring-loaded mechanism w/lever and button on the roof that causes the race cars to launch forward. Garage detailing includes flags of different countries, race car drivers and mechanics w/their cars, etc. Lt. scattered wear w/some pinpoint paint nicks. VF to Exc. Nice design and action.
