3.75x7.5x2.25" tall tin litho car comes in box w/nicely illustrated lid. 1950s by Nomura Toys, Japan. Lid features additional race scene on two side panels. Box has lt. dust soiling, right side panel has .5x1.5" spot of missing surface paper. Still tight and VF. Car is very nicely designed and detailed, includes "Hot Rod" name repeated three times, front bears the number "7." Has exposed engine w/mc plastic inserts. Toy has working friction mechanism and sparks are visible in the motor. Scattered minute paint nicks as produced. Exc. Great design.
