Item Description
2" missing back paper but known to be produced by the St. Louis Button Co. Each leader's full name in a red circle. Issued for events on March 5, 1946 at the midwestern college where Churchill delivered his "Sinews Of Peace" address that included the iconic line "From Stettin In The Baltic To Trieste In The Adriatic An Iron Curtain Has Descended Across The Continent" referencing the Soviet domination of Eastern Europe. A clean and glossy example w/only a very faint yellow mark above "Winston" in the white field that is barely noticeable. Otherwise only minor surface wear. Exc. Historic and scarce.
