Item Description
This 1.25" has condition problems but displays decently. Shows TR in western outfit with hat in one hand and other holds reins of bucking bronc. Text reads "Our Teddy, Never Pulls Leather, Copyrighted 1904 By Peck & Bierbower." Covered tin back with vertical pin by St. Louis Button Co. Cello has visible, but only moderately dark, age marks widely scattered. Surface has many but tiny craze lines mostly invisible without magnification and so tiny they can barely be felt to the touch. Sepia color on his head is light, but details can be seen. Hake #3228 and 2004 guide value of $1,250. First we recall offering and we've seen only 3 or so in 40 years. Rare.
