36x176" glazed fabric banner produced by Servel, Inc., noted as "Peacetime Manufacturers Of The Servel Gas Refrigerator" who was also a major contractor during World War II, producing aviation parts. Powerful design features central image of horned Hitler cringing in pain as he is punched in the jaw by large fist labeled "America's Increased War Production" on fingers. Additional text "U.S. Needs Us Strong - The Right Foods Keep You Fit!" Fold lines as made w/some faint moisture marks along lower edge and scattered in margins. VF. Comes in original canvas bag as issued and retains original brass grommets making for easy display. Impressive size and design combine to capture the spirit of the US Homefront efforts magnificently. Only the second we've seen in our 55 years.
