Item Description
1.5"w/union bug on curl. Text on button reading "I'm for Kennedy, Gallagher And Row A". Cornelius Gallagher was re-elected to the 13th Congressional District of NJ in the 1960 election and remained in office until 1973. Gallagher was a fierce critic of what he saw as overreach by the FBI in its surveillance practices under J. Edgar Hoover. Cello retains vibrant color but has several hairline scratches, most notably a fairly deep diagonal scratch beginning at 9 o'clock in the white field an ending in the "O" in "Row". More typically seen in smaller 1.25" size. Fine. Scarce.
