Item Description
12x15x3" deep box contains complete set #931 by Auburn Rubber Co. Inc., 1950s. Box bottom includes illustration of the set along w/two different ways the box could be used, one as a display, the other formed into a play garage. Top and all side panels have fire station designs including images of firemen, fire trucks, etc. Complete w/insert designed to hold the pieces in place. Box has lightly aged, top left corner has 1.5" edge split o/w tight and VF. Set consists of three free-wheeling vehicles which are 4.5" long police car and 7.5" long fire engine and fire pumper. There are six figures, three policemen and three firemen, each 3" tall in a total of five different poses plus one duplicate fireman. Other pieces include fire hydrant, pair of hoses and a ladder. Set is unused and N. Mint.
