Item Description
5.75" mechanical pencil. Metal tip w/blue plastic section and cream colored barrel w/text reading "Compliments of Lyndon B. Johnson Your United States Senator." The top of the pen shows image of Johnson and his facsimile signature encased inside. Hairline split at the bottom of cream barrel w/scattered wear and even age toning on barrel. At the top, several tiny indentations in the clear plastic that is encasing the portrait. Fine. An interesting and unusual early career item for the 36th President of the United States.
