Item Description
13-5/8x20.5" artboard has Stan Goldberg's pen and ink original art for Millie The Model #102 title splash page 18, published by Marvel May 1961. Page features three panels, w/Millie at bus stop modeling dress designed by Canadian reader (who is noted by name by Millie). Millie is featured getting on bus in following two panels. Top has "Millie The Model" title paste-over stat and had-lettered "Fuss In The Bus" story title. Upper left corner of main panel signature of Millie editor Stan Lee. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers w/larger page number in black marker at bottom right. Back features nicely done preliminary pencil art for this pages, w/fully realized, full body image of Millie. Artboard has some handling wear w/creases at top right and lower left corners. Lower right corner has faint 3/8" spot of staining, but o/w art remains clean and displays Exc. Wonderful example of Millie art.
