Item Description
1.25" w/Wm. H. Hoegee backpaper. A distinctive design w/additional slogan "Stand Pat". A well centered example. Only a few faint spots near the extreme outer edge at about 12 o'clock that detract little. Otherwise only minor surface wear seen under magnification. Exc. as made. These early Hogee buttons frequently have mottling in the cream background but this example is almost completely free of that, making it a standout that would be hard to improve. Only the fourth we can recall seeing in our 55 years.
