10" tall display, complete assembled model w/professionally done paint job. Built-up kit issued directly by Aurora to stores for promotional purposes. From Aurora "Fighting Men" series. ©1958. Kit No. K-6 "The Viking" who holds spear and shield, helmet that sits upon head, a sword at his hip and an axe over his shoulder, w/"Viking" name in raised lettering on base. Likely based on Kirk Douglas character from popular movie "The Vikings" from 1958. Exc. These store display models are rare.
