Item Description
1.5" in uncommon size with W&H back paper first used in 1913, the approximate date of this wonderful design. Reverse has hairline .25" cello split along the collet but this is tiny, not bulging out and truly a minor defect. The design for this Utica, NY store (see earlier Fraser's full figure Santa in this section) has it all: holly wreath outer edge, background of falling snow, snow covered pine tree, bi-plane, Santa's footsteps in the snow and Santa himself in traditional red wearing yellow aviator goggles as he holds arm loads of toys which have a teddy bear at center. Other than as made tiny split on back rim, essentially Mint. We believe our first with Fraser's name, but we've seen one for "Wyman", one with no name, and one for firm "Taylor-Lowenstein". Rare.
