Item Description
8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for Incredible Hulk Vol. 1 #4 (Marvel, November 1962) and Vol. 1 #5  (Marvel, January 1963) featuring early appearances of The Incredible Hulk by Jack Kirby that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover book. Complete 22 and 24 story pages each issue (total page count in this lot is 46), no covers. Historic Silver Age Incredible Hulk storylines "The Monster and the Machine!", "The Gladiator from Outer Space!",  "Beauty and the Beast!" and "The Hordes of General Fang!" by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper to add 3 hole punches w/"Marvel Masterworks The Incredible Hulk!" stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Used in Marvel Masterworks #8 that reprinted The Incredible Hulk #1-6. September 1989. Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
