11x9.25" stat paper sheets w/copy of art for the Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #1 (Marvel, March 1963) featuring an early appearance of The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover book. Complete 24 story pages and cover. Historic Silver Age Spider-Man storylines "Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man Vs. the Chameleon!" by Stan Lee with art by Steve Ditko. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper w/ "Marvel Masterworks The Amazing Spider-Man" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Cover has acetate overlays w/text color. Used in Marvel Masterworks #1 that reprinted The Amazing Spider-Man #1-10 and AF #15. November 1987. Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean.
