Item Description
8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for the Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #11-13 (Marvel, 1964) featuring early appearances of The Amazing Spider-Man w/Doctor Octopus and Mysterio by Steve Ditko that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover Marvel Masterworks books. All have complete 21-22 story pages and covers plus a Pin-Up page w/each. Historic Silver Age Spider-Man storylines in all: "Turning Point", "Unmasked By Doctor Octopus!" and "The Menace of... Mysterio!" by Stan Lee with art by Steve Ditko. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Paper pages w/"Marvel Masterworks The Amazing Spider-Man" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Covers have acetate overlays w/text color. Used in Marvel Masterworks #5 that reprinted The Amazing Spider-Man #11-19, Ann.1 (October 1988). Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF.
