Item Description
6.75x10" vintage comic issue pages, a few paper sheets and stats w/copy of art for the Marvel Tales Vol. 2, various issues including #83, 108-111, 115, 118 and 130. (Marvel, 1970s) featuring appearances of Ka-Zar, Doc Ock, Tarantula, Man-Wolf and Molten Man by various artists that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issues. Color artist on issues was Andy Yanchus. Pages w/"Marvel Tales" written/stamped at top and marked up w/color break notations. 29 total pages. A very interesting look into the colorist's line of work showing that colors were done w/marking up vintage pages from actual comics being reprinted. Cut-in panels w/new color work and color break notations throughout. Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VG. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
