Item Description
4.75x12" on thin paper. Features high contrast profile portrait of Butler at the top w/Massachusetts electors and state office coattails below. In 1884 Butler hoped to rally the minority party in each state, be it Democrat or Republican, into a single 'People's Party.' He was eventually nominated by both the Anti-monopoly Party and the Greenback Party. Top center has tiny 1/8" tear, and bottom right corner just right of "Salem" has 1/8" tear. Otherwise a few scattered tiny brown stains, most notably just left of Butler's portrait. Extremely Fine. A scarce third party item from the 1884 campaign.
