Item Description
1.25", no maker and very likely from Birmingham, Alabama, designed like a button but reverse is concave metal with inserted strip of spring steel to make clicking sound. Strip has tiny, minor, side edge dent but works perfectly. Our sole other example had a metal crack and did not work. Front features big Santa image with holly rim and many tiny stars on green background. Santa's beard carries the text "Chirp For J. Blach & Co. Boy's Dep't." Cello is NM. Two known. Rare. Alan Weinberg Collection.
