Item Description
4x8" embossed woven paper. Gilt embossed eagle perched on an American flag over a highly filigreed oval frame w/silhouette of Taylor captioned "President Zachary Taylor Born In 1784 Died July 9th 1850". Additional text at bottom features Taylor's last words. Faded color most notable in the red of the flag. Gold application remains vibrant. Some edge wear and a tight tear in ribbon just right of gold border around Taylor's profile portrait. Tiny 1/16" hole at bottom center of ribbon. Otherwise some faint light brown toning. Fine. Scarce.
