Item Description
2.75" no maker although the match safe and round mirror in this auction carry name Meek Co. c. 1905. The female figure with light rays shooting from her raised hands perhaps represents Amphitrite, the Greek goddess sea queen and wife of Poseidon. 99% silvering and NM. This illustration is scarce in total with each of the various imprints rare and each variety (round mirror, safe, oval mirror) in this auction, the last in the Alan Weinberg Collection.
