Item Description
1.75" w/Bastian paper in use just two years. There is a variety of this button c. 1905 which has words at top "America's Largest Importer Of" (followed by names of three breeds). This revised text deletes the word "America" to add space for text naming five breeds: "Percheron, Belgian, German Coach, Shire, & Hackney Stallions & Mares". In our view, the all time most beautiful horse button ever made. In amazing essentially Mint condition. The design is scarce. In this condition, a rarity. Alan Weinberg Collection.
