Item Description
2.25" w/union bug at 6 o'clock. A 1996 article in the Hartford Courant describes soccer moms as "energetic, often harried, suburban women who are juggling the demands of a job with their responsibilities of their families," w/the article dubbing the group as "the swing voters who might make the difference" in the election. The article went on to say that while men supported both Clinton and his opponent, Bob Dole, equally, women by contrast supported Clinton over Dole 2-to-1. It may very well have been the "Soccer Moms" that propelled Clinton to a landslide victory in 1996. Only trivial wear under magnification. Glossy. NM displaying Mint. While we've encountered the black variety of this design, found as the previous lot, we can not recall seeing this gray variety offered publicly.
