Item Description
2.25" Badge-A-Minit button. The "Arkansas Travelers" were a group of about 300 Arkansans who knew Clinton personally and traveled around the country to campaign on his behalf. The Macon Telegraph interviewed some of the travelers during their time in Georgia just days before the 1992 election during their last push to get out the vote for Clinton. One Traveler, explaining why he and others were spending their time and money to campaign for Clinton, said, "We all know the truth about him and that's what we're out doing...I know him to be a good man...he kept his promises to Arkansas and he earned our trust. We trust him and we think the nation can as well." Tiny bump just under the second "E" in "Traveler". Otherwise clean and glossy w/only trivial surface wear. Exc. Very few of these were produced for this Clinton group, and they are infrequently offered.
