Item Description
11x15.5 on sketch paper. Youthful portrait image of FDR looking confidently at the viewer wearing suit and bowtie. Pen and ink print numbered 64/1000 that is signed by artist, w/signature seen at bottom right corner. Grant is most well-known for his association w/the Boy Scouts of America, illustrating covers of Boys' Life, the Boy Scout Handbook, and Saturday Evening Post, to name a few, as well as the illustrator for the Jack London novel, The Scarlet Plague. Even toning except the perimeter from age in frame. Tape border around extreme edges of perimeter. Technically VF, but can display Exc. in frame.
