Item Description
11.5x14.5" folio. Limited edition copy signed by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Numbered 665. 386 pages. Illustrated period advertisements, images and articles of prominent Democrats and Democratic allies, like the UMW and others. Issued to Herbert Swope, a three-time Pulitzer Prize recipient for Reporting. His first prize was for reporting on the German Empire in 1917, and he won another Pulitzer for his 1921 expose on the Ku Klux Klan. Some edge wear and damage to the spine, most notably at top and bottom. Otherwise some surface wear on front right edge at about 3 o'clock on cover. Inside the pages have only minor wear w/no tears or yellowing in paper. Cover is VF. Pages inside NM. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
