Item Description
Each is 7/8". On the left is 1896 lapel stud, made identically to the 1896 Corbett in lot #739 (designed w/three tiny holes on back) but here front rim text reads "Fitzsimmons/High Admiral Cigarettes" making this possibly the first boxing related give-away advertising premium. A couple pale tiny age marks but high gloss and VF. Rare. Second is c. 1896 pin-back w/W&H back paper and front text of his name only. There is long but hairline crack and tiny age traces but displays well. Fine. Rare. Third is c. 1897 after his fight w/Corbett. This has Pepsin Gum back paper. Front reads "Robt. Fitzsimmons, Champion Fighter Of The World". NM and scarce from a set of famous people of the 1897 era made by W&H. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
