Item Description
1.25" w/W&H back paper. Superb 1.25" color button which has our vote as best looking full color Boy Scout button ever and it is also among the very earliest and rarest. However, in reflected light there are five tiny cello craze lines to right of his foot and under magnification there are about 15 others mostly on right side w/a couple around his saluting arm. Button retains full color, great gloss and the crazing is all but invisible without magnification. Only the second known to us. Rare. VF. This is photo example used (p. 115) for Button Power: 125 Years of Saying It With Buttons by Christen Carter and Ted Hake. Comes w/Hake's COA.
