Item Description
1-1/8" dia. litho featuring c. 1934-1935 image of Flash Gordon wearing a winged helmet as he appeared when introduced in his January 1934 Sunday comic strip. This "Flash Gordon Club" was sponsored by the "Chicago Herald And Examiner" newspaper and button was made by Geraghty & Co. of Chicago as noted in tiny text on curl. There are eight virtual pinpoint paint dots off, seven from background and one on his cheek. For a litho button nearly 90 years old this is very minor and these are rarely found nicer. Super clean and VF. Scarce.
