Pair 10x12" animation sheets featuring pencil original art w/colored pencil accents from 1938 Silly Symphony featuring caricatures of many Hollywood celebrities of the day. Drawing No. 24 w/6.75x6.75" image area shows full body image of Oliver Hardy as The Pie Man, about to throw a pie. Drawing No. 101 w/7x7-7/8" image area shows Stan Laurel as Simple Simon from the knees up, also holding a pie. Some scattered production notes by Laurel art. Sheets have lt. aging/handling but are clean w/Exc. art. Comes w/10x12.5" studio-used model sheet (an important part of the animation process), showing images of the characters in this sequence. Exc.
