Item Description
2.75x2x1". Motto encircling an early depiction of the American Seal on interior of hinged lid relates to a land grant voted on by Congress and bestowed onto Lafayette during his 1824-25 visit to America. Two small chips of missing enamel along bottom edge of base, most notably at left. Otherwise only light wear from minimal use. VF. Only the second example we've encountered in our 55 years.
