Item Description
2-1/8". No maker w/brass luster back and bar pin. This and the following three lots are related buttons, each w/same image of a batter. This one has team name and date of "1947" along w/"Beat! Dem Bums" a reference to the cross-town rival, Brooklyn Dodgers. New York bested the Dodgers in seven games to take the World Series and were led by HOF members Dimaggio, Berra and Rizzuto. Moderate wear to metal back. Front has moderate surface wear upon close inspection and tiny bumps as made caused by reverse pin. Remains clean and glossy. Fine.
