Warner Home Video Betamax tape for Albert Magnoli's 1984 Academy Award-winning rock musical starring Prince in his acting debut. Developed to showcase his talents, it contains several concert sequences, featuring Prince and his band The Revolution. Purple Rain grossed over $72 million worldwide and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score. First year print run. VGA subgrades are as follows - Box 80, Seal 80. Mislabled by VGA as a VHS tape.
