2-1/8". No maker. Pitcher Maurice "Mickey" McDermott, Jr. is shown in his New York Yankees cap. He played only one year for the team, 1956, with a W-L record of just 2-6. But he became a World Series champion that season nonetheless. In total his MLB career spanned 1948-1961 playing for five other teams including the Red Sox, Senators, A's, Tigers and Cardinals.
