Item Description
Large 28x41" poster, similar to a movie one-sheet, lightly rolled but essentially N. Mint with a couple of trivial .25" margin tears and one 16" very light horizontal crease line 8" down from the top. Titled in big, bold red letters "Vote For Dewey/Kill The Klan." Big cartoon at center shows "FDR" embracing "Truman" in Klan garb. Bkg. shows lynch rope over tree branch and four Klansmen, one with rifle and one with "KKK" on robe. FDR says "I Should Be Very Happy To Run With Harry Truman. He'll Bring Real Strength To The Ticket!" Rare and first we've offered, we know of only three.
