Auction 191 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 954 in auction 191
Item Description
2.25x4x6.5" tall painted cast metal figure on a base with raised metal piece at right over which a box of matches would fit partially opening the box to make convenient for use. Figure also could server as a paperweight. An Exc. and impressive likeness likely produced for 1948 presidential campaign as we've seen a metal Thomas Dewey figure with similar paint. Trivial hint of age tone on base paint, but paint near 99% complete. Just four tiny random chips on reverse. Rare and Exc. See Truman for Senator with FDR 1940 poster #63.
