Item Description
Extensive run of buttons issued between 1983 and 1990 by group devoted to peace and disarmament and opposed to war and nuclear weapons. Each button reverse has (removable) inked note by Levin "PRP" plus a sequential number and a date. Sometimes there are two of a given number, but second button differs by color, size or design. Sizes are 1.25" to 2.5". Numbered between 1-50 are 41 buttons from 1983-85. Numbered between 51-100 are 35 buttons from 1985-87. Numbered between 101-150 are 24 buttons from 1987-88. Numbered between 151-200 are 32 buttons from 1988-89. Numbered between 201-296 are 22 buttons from 1989-90. There are 154 in all. Four of the day-glo peace symbol designs have couple tiny age spots. Other 150 are N. Mint to Mint. Vast array of slogans and graphics. A scarce 8-year run of designs with limited distribution.
