Item Description
3x3x7.25" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key comes in nicely illustrated box. By Lindstrom, 1930s. Box features two large images of the toy on two side panels, other two panels have smaller image plus word balloon for her "I Dance As I Sweep" plus additional images of two Black men, one playing guitar while the other dances. Lt. box wear, scattered color rubs but clean, tight and VF. Toy depicts mammy holding a broom. Works and she shakes about while sweeping. Minute scattered paint nicks but as produced, toy remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. to N. Mint.
