3". Carter, in June 1979, told legislators at a White House dinner "If Kennedy Runs I'll Whip His Ass." Button depicts portly Kennedy on stressed donkey saying to Carter "You're Going To Whip My What??" Carter is portrayed as a rural black man in bare feet, overalls with large lips and holding a whip. At lower right, a tiny running figure says "Call The S.P.C.A." Curl has copyright "Universal Press Syndicate." Mint.
