Item Description
2.5x3.5". The 1968 Topps Baseball consists of 598 cards. Card fronts feature large color photographs bordered by the visual appearance of a wood frame. The player's name is below the photo but on the unusual background; a colored circle on the lower right carries the team and position. Subsets include League Leader (#1-12), World Series (#151-158) and All-Star cards (#361-380), as well as rookie cards and Checklists (which were "Double Printed"). The uniquely styled borders of this set are highly susceptible to chipping and displaying evidence of wear.

Henry Louis Aaron, nicknamed "Hammer" or "Hammerin' Hank", was an American professional baseball right fielder who played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), from 1954 through 1976. One of the greatest baseball players in history, he spent 21 seasons with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves in the National League (NL) and two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers in the American League (AL). Some of his many career highlights include being a 25 time All-Star, three time Gold Glove Winner and was an MVP and World Series Champ in 1957. Some all-time MLB records he possesses is the all-time RBI, Total Bases and Extra Base hit records and was the home run champ for a number of years. Hank Aaron was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. This slab has some tiny stress lines in the plastic in the upper right hand portion near the numeric grade.
