Item Description
2-1/8" cello 8" long overall. Cello has high contrast portrait of the 1928 Republican candidate w/only light surface wear. Ribbon retains vibrant color w/virtually no loss of gold letter application. Suspended from Brass hanger w/designation to the "Captain" of the Republican County Committee. Exc. Albert Ottinger was the Republican gubernatorial nominee and the first Jewish candidate for NY Governor. While Hoover won in a landslide in 1928, Ottinger lost in a close election to his Democratic opponent, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
