Item Description
1-1/8". Brass. DeWitt USG-1868-45. Front features an ornate eagle and shield design w/portraits of the 1868 Republican ticket w/their respective names above them. Incredibly crisp and bold images of each of the nominees. Small brown area of tarnish on the eagle's left wing, otherwise only light wear. Reverse features a profile image of Grant in his Union uniform w/1868 written at the bottom. Only minor surface wear. Overall, extremely Fine. An impressive jugate from Grant's first campaign.
