Item Description
4.75" overall w/1.25" cello insert. From the notification ceremony of Alf Landon on July 23, 1936 in Topeka, KS. Comes w/original W&H  card backing w/prices for the badge depending on quantity. For example, 50 badges at 50 cents a piece, 100 badges at 42 cents each, and 2500 at 31 cents per badge. Reverse of the card has a message from W&H talking about the importance of these badges and their other items, discussing how they may be the only tangible item a participant in the event has, and how it is a piece of history. Card has edge tears and moderate surface wear. Badge itself has minor even age toning on the ribbon. Cello has an air mark at 7 o'clock along the extreme edge, otherwise only minor surface wear. Glossy. Extremely Fine.
