Item Description
Each is 1.25x1-5/8". Bugs feature the 1896 Republican and Democratic tickets in their signature gold and silver respectively. McKinley bug has toning and moderate wear on each portrait. Bug itself retains full luster. VF. The Bryan bug also has toning and moderate wear on the portraits, most notably on the Sewall portrait. Bug has some luster loss. Sewall wing is a little loose and does not stay in place when wings are spread. Fine. A quintessential pairing from the 1896 campaign, highlighting the gold vs. silver issue and the popularity of mechanicals at the time.
