Item Description
First is .75" tall frame-like celluloid w/beveled edge w/real photograph mounted at raised center. Exc. This and next similarly made figural star have stickpin reverses. Star photo is different from first and is closer, and has lt. aging on photo emulsion and celluloid star has lt. fade. VG. Both date to 1940 or earlier in his career while the 7/8" copper plastic gumball charm is likely post World War II. Frame features raised sports symbols w/blank back. Exc. These three are Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Examples. Last item is a brass pin soldered into the reverse shell of the front half of a head w/features that appear to be those of Joe Louis. Pin is 1.5" long and head is .5" tall, but very detailed. Mint. This item is also from the Paul Muchinsky Collection, but is not featured in his book.
