Item Description
Each 1.25" dia w/o maker names. First pictures Les Darcy, known as "The Maitland Wonder." He was a renowned Australian middleweight/heavyweight champion who died in 1916 at age 21 from an infection caused by a tooth broken during his final Australian bout. Noticeable age staining, but still glossy and VG. Second pictures Archie Bradley, an Australian welterweight champ in the 1920s. Named after his Gympie, Queensland hometown, he was known as "The Gympie Whirlwind." Very lt. aging around outer perimeter. Glossy. Fine. Rare. Both are Paul Muchinsky Collection; book photo examples #36 and #106.
