Item Description
3.5x5-3/8" postcard depicts Rote (1928-2000) during his day as quarterback for the Green Bay Packers (1950-1956). Rote was a 2-time Second-team All-Pro, 1956 Pro Bowl, 1956 NFL passing yards leader and 1957 NFL champion. Photo shows him in uniform about to pass football, w/"Tobin Rote, Quarterback, Green Bay Packer - Representing Miller Brewing Co." text at bottom. Below this, Rote has signed in blue ink, adding "To Peter With Best Of Luck From Your Buddy" inscription. Some lt. aging to inscription/signature, but still totally legible. Postcard has some scattered aging and handling wear but is VF overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
